Artist Proofs are cards every illustrator gets from Wizards of the Coast for every card they illustrated (except Universe Beyond cards) . Those cards are the same in look and feel as the normal cards, except for the blank/white back (Rares and Mythics also miss the small holo sticker on the front). There are only a very limited amount of each card (30-50 pieces) in foil and non foil.
Proofs are only available through the individual card illustrator and many artists offer to sketch or paint something on the back. That makes them a very valuable treasure for collectors. All my proofs come signed and if you are interested in commissioning a sketch or a painting on the back, you can add it to your order down below.
